#RubyConf has been great and exhausting this week
Federation report: in the last hour, https://mastodon.host received 7684 toots from 514 instances. We can see at the moment 67.43% of the network statuses and have seen 8959/4992 currently alive instances.
Posts that come in via as-yet unknown accounts get stubbed accounts called `PartialAccount`s (basically, just `id` URLs). I need some kind of post hoc process to spin up and hydrate them into reified remote accounts.
I've already got something for this, I think I just need to kick it off.
Intake of boosted posts is working!
I tried pulling in toots from a relay (https://relay.mastodon.host/inbox) for more of a federated timeline for this instance and in 12 hours it had 1GB of photos and video in it. 🤯
